Can you get a same-day doctor's note online? Yes. A US-licensed physician will review your request and, if appropriate, will issue a legitimate doctor's note the same day, as long as it arrives during covered hours in a covered state. Requests sent overnight are reviewed the next morning. We can't promise an instant or guaranteed note.

What “same-day” really means

When you’re unwell and your employer needs documentation today, waiting days for a clinic appointment isn’t an option. An online review removes the two slowest parts of getting a note, booking a visit and sitting in a waiting room, so a doctor licensed in your state can review your case and issue a legitimate note the same day.

We’re deliberate about the promise: same-day means during covered hours, in covered states. A request that lands at 2 a.m. is reviewed the next morning. We won’t claim “instant” or “guaranteed,” because a real physician will review every request and keeps the right to decline, and that honesty is exactly what makes the note worth having.

How fast is "same day"?
If your request arrives during covered hours, a physician typically reviews it the same day and you receive the note by email. Requests that come in overnight are handled the next morning. We never promise an instant or guaranteed turnaround.
Is a same-day note still a real doctor's note?
